120 Princess St K7L 5M6,
Today I had the pleasure of coming back for lunch. What I had found is the decor of the inside basically was exactly the same as when I was there 7 years ago! Skip to the sushi. On this occasion I had the sushi-sashimi lunch special. My wife had the bulgogi lunch special. Flavour was okay but the rice tasted like it needed some more seasoning.
Sushi was good but nothing really special. Sushi boat is cool.
Really good sushi restaurant.
Great service and selection. Everything was fresh and served fast. Very tasty
Really nice restaurant
Some if the best sushi I've had
eel don is very tasty, a bit pricy and a small portion though.
That's not to say the sushi isn't good -- it is. Usually. But it can be quite a crapshoot, to the point I stopped bothering with the sushi long ago. One day it's amazing, the next the rice is undercooked and warm (and has partially cooked the fish!).My favourite is the soon tofu, a classic stew that is divine... I used to get this at least once a week when I lived and worked down the street. When I return to visit, I always try to get a bowl.
Yummy, I approve. ðŸ‘
Staff are extremely friendly and patient, especially when the restaurant isn't too busy. Last time I went, it was full, which meant it took a bit longer, which wasn't a problem for me. I've only eaten off of the Korean 'menu' and I haven't been disappointed! I definitely suggest this restaurant, just make sure it's not too busy before you actually go in, haha.

The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful!!
They serve good Korean dishes. My family tried spicy beef bulgogi, spicy squid and spicy pork. They were all served with rice, miso soup and salad. Their presentation was tidy and food was delicious with some spiciness. (I hope they ask customers how spicy they want) Their lunch menu is in $10-$15 which is good considering it's about 5 minutes away on foot from the downtown city hall.
If you like Korean food, this is the place to go! I always get the spicy pork, and it is so delicious! Yes, I know it is the sushi place, but honestly I prefer to have Korean food there more than any other food on the menu.
This is a great place. I usually eat-in for authentic Korean dishes and get Sushi for take-out - both of these are always very good! I am very excited at being able to get delicious "Gamjatang" / Pork Bone soup in Kingston, and it always tastes "just like in Korea". It's also nice that they have Sapporo on tap, which always goes well with Korean and Japanese food. Cheers!
The restaurant is never too busy and the staff are friendly. Food is a bit salty, especially the bulgogi and the teriyaki, but overall pretty good tasting. Sushi and rolls not bad.
Big menu, good prices, and delicious food! Ordered the veggie maki dinner.
Our regular sushi restaurant.
Food was great but the service was even better! The servers were by far, the friendliest we've encountered during our weeklong stay in Kingston. These two young ladies would be great examples of good customer service for the servers of the other restaurants we've visited this week.
Great staff, awesome sushi!
My go to place for non-ayce sushi and Korean food. Operated by really friendly Koreans who know their stuff.
Food was tasty, rolls were large between 8-10 pieces per roll.
Good service and food. A bit dated...
Great service, my wife and I love coming here. The food is fantastic and the server who I thinks works there 24/7 is very friendly.
I knew I was in the right place when the only place to sit on a rainy Wednesday night was at the bar. Sat down to order a drink, flipped open the drink menu and saw "Nutella old fashioned". Sold. And just drank that all night. Great version of an old fashioned for a Nutella lover.
I love this place so much! Working in the area, Ta-Ke is one of the sure things about my busy schedule, because the food and service are so good.
Great food great service. Many thanks to Anna our waitress.
I had late lunch here today with my boysWe got sushi bento, chicken teriyaki bento & korean bulgogyBentos come with fresh salad, super crispy tenpura and miso soupAnd bulgogy comes w rice and miso soupPortion was big enough and every bite was really goodðŸ‘ðŸ‘Highly recommended place~!
Sitting at the Sushi Bar is a pleasant experience. The fresh RAW FISH is as good as I used to have in JAPAN.Staff is Friendly and Attentive.Choice is broad and PRESENTATION wonderful. While in HDH after surgery, my Family brought in a "BOAT" load of Sushi and SASHIMI. Some may say "Chicken Soup" cure. This cured me. Fabulous replacement to Hospital Food ! After a delicious Feast go out the "back door" & up to the SCREENING ROOM for a movie in comfort."SEND IN THE CLOWNS" and "CAMERA KINGSTON" are 'next door' !
Give them a Michellin star!We ordered the last option in the menu, which is for 2 people. And it was really good in terms of presentation and taste. The owner/chef is very nice and professional too!
It was really great!! Good service and friendly staff! Fresh and delicious sushi :)
Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Super presentation, always fresh. Also Spicy bulgogi and great Udon. Better than anything I've had in Toronto. Friendly service. I eat here whenever I am in K-town.
Ta Ke Sushi is my favourite downtown sushi restaurant. The food is amazing. The staff are so friendly and the service is quick. As a veggie person I love to order the vegetable bento box. I’ve only been at this restaurant for lunch but I know that on the lunch menu it is only $9.99. Comes will all kinds of delicious veggie selections. Avacado-cucumber rolls, veggie tempura, rice noodles, dumplings, miso soup and green tea. Come hungry because this is very filling, and it is so good you will want to eat all of it. I highly recommend this dish and this restaurant. Don’t second guess, just go!
Quiet but great food! They also serve alcohol too. Fun with friends.
Great food, great price
Great food. Great service
Great staff. Awesome sushi. What more could you ask for :) the gyoza soup is amazing. It's my favourite sushi restaurant in town.
They were so nice
The nicest people run this restaurant and the food is Delicious!
The Best sushi in town👌 Excellent service, friendly staff and ambient atmosphere. They serve variety of Korean and Japanese delicious mouthwatering dishes.

Very friendly service, not the absolute best sushi in town but better than youd expect for the price :D
Service is very slow. Sushi is also sloppy looking. Overpriced for the quality of sushi. Only one chef and one server for Friday night. Sadly, will not return. #localguide
The decor is getting quite old and worn, but the food has always been delicious.
Lovely sushi place with a wide variety of sushi and hot food options. Very tasty, would recommend!
Delicious food very good service
Great location for sushi in downtown Kingston. Good menu with lots of variety. Lunch specials are always amazing and affordable. Service is great, I like the staff, family run business from what it seems with really good sushi and great prices. My favourite downtown sushi restaurant forsure.
